This exquisitely sculptural piece of natural history makes an incredible statement and works beautifully with design styles ranging from traditional to modern. This fossil mural features fossil fish from the Green River Formation: two Diplomystus dentatus and two Knightia eocaena. These are all Eocene era fossils dating back about 50 million years. These ancient fish are forever preserved in a beautifully textured matrix of natural, fossil-bearing limestone.
 
The mural measures approximately 2.75 feet x 2.2 feet. It is fully backed with wood, and the irregular outline highlights the natural concept of this work of art. The mural has a built-in French cleat, which allows for an easy installation.
